Frequently Asked Questions
We started the My Biggest Fan Foundation to honour the legacy of Craig MacEwen, father of current current NHL Hockey Player, Zack MacEwen.
The MacEwen's years were filled with countless hours at the arena, spending a great deal of money in order to put both of their boys through hockey and support Zack's dream of playing in the NHL. Craig MacEwen was his son's biggest fan.
We know it is not always easy or possible for families to have their children play hockey. This is why we wanted to do what we could to help.
You can find out more about Craig and our story here.
We offer support for hockey players and their families in the form of scholarships, financial support, and equipment. We are fortunate to help families across Canada, with a focus on areas that Zack MacEwen has played throughout his hockey career. This includes Prince Edward Island, Amherst, Moncton, Gatineau, and Vancouver.
We aim to partner with organizations such as Hockey PEI, minor hockey associations, The First Shift Program, etc.
Currently, it is our plan to use money raised to purchase new equipment. We are unable to accept donations of equipment at this time.
